Attributed Richard Lee American Taster Porringer, late 18th or early 19th century

Similar to the cast marked example on this site but with a smaller 2-1/4" diameter bowl, this version is unmarked but definitely attributed to Richard Lee Sr., or Richard Lee, Jr. The openwork handle type is known as "spaghetti" and has similarities to Samuel Pierce versions. Note the bracket is filled in where the cast mark might have been, adding strength to this delicate looking porringer.

The handle is burnt on with a good linen mark. In very good to excellent condition with a few minor dings or bumps.
