Short American Pewter Beaker by J. B. Woodbury 1830-1838, Beverly MA and Philadelphia PA

An excellent condition and a bit scarce 3" beaker by John Baker Woodbury, working in Beverly MA from 1830-1835 before moving to Philadelphia PA and working there 1835-1838. According to past sources, it is believed Woodbury got his start training under Eben Smith or Israel Trask of Beverly.

The flared rim, in combination with the incised lines around the body, make this a very attractive form.

This beaker is in really clean condition, with one small ding, some minor base surface issues, and an excellent touchmark.
