Boardman Unmarked One Quart Pewter Flagon, ca. 1810-1835

An one quart unmarked pewter flagon definitely attributable to the Boardman group of Hartford Connecticut, ca. 1810-1830. Most of the pewter was made in Hartford Connecticut under the auspices of Thomas Danforth Boardman and his brother Sherman.

The Boardman group made pieces that emulated the best of 18th century designs. As typical, this flagon is 8" high.

Aside from some pitting in the interior, the flagon is in excellent condition.
