A highly unusual form attributed to either Israel or Oliver Trask of Beverly Massachusetts. The only other
photographed similar size form that I could find is a 4" beaker in Carl Jacobs Guide to American Pewter, fig. 42.
This 3" form is similar to the Trask larger 5" inch range beakers, but this is not seamed (the beaker has a nice "ring"
to it) like the sheet metal versions.
With a 2-3/16" footed base diameter, this 3-1/4" unmarked form has two bands of well-known knurled banded
decoration found on other Trask pieces. In excellent condition, showing some wear and scratches but no dents.
