Pewter in American Life book by PCCA
A 1984 original edition of Pewter in American Life, the landmark book published by the Pewter Collectors Club of
America as part of a 1984 exhibition of pewter at the Museum of Our National Heritage (now known as the
National Heritage Museum) in Lexington Mass. The exhibition was organized in observance of the club’s 50th
anniversary. The well-illustrated and well-photographed book contains many of the 275 examples from the
exhibition, including some the rarest and best examples of 17th, 18th and 19th century American (and English
export) pewter. This 159 pg. book is a must for any pewter collector.
