Boardman & Co. 10-3/4" Pewter Plate
Pewter was primarily made in Hartford Connecticut by Thomas Danforth Boardman and his brother Sherman.
This narrow rim plate is double struck with the Boardman & Co New York eagle mark, dating this piece to the
1820's-1830's.
The Boardman group made pieces that emulated the best of 18th century designs, and this plate has the
quality X touchmark.
Plates like this often found church communion service. In excellent overall condition.
